Outstanding Weekend for Spelthorne Tumbling Gymnasts
It was an exceptional weekend for our tumblers as they competed at the first-ever Tumbling Home Nations International and the English Championships, producing outstanding performances, medal-winning routines and impressive new skills.
Home Nations International Success
Spelthorne was proudly represented at the inaugural Tumbling Home Nations International, where our gymnasts competed against athletes from across England, Scotland and Wales.
Individual Results
Georgia – Junior Bronze Medallist
In what was a fantastic achievement, Georgia secured an individual bronze medal in the Junior category.
Leila finished an impressive 7th place in what was her first-ever international competition, gaining valuable experience on the international stage.

Age Group Success
A fantastic achievement for the club was that all of our Age Group gymnasts qualified for their respective finals, demonstrating the strength and depth of the tumbling programme.
New Skills Performed
The weekend also saw several gymnasts successfully perform new skills in competition:

- Archie – Double Straight
- Jay – Full Full Straight and 2½ Twisting Double Tuck
- Corrado – Double Straight Transition and 2½ Twisting Double Tuck
These new skills are the result of many hours of hard work and dedication in the gym and represent significant milestones in each gymnast’s development.
A Weekend to Remember
From international medals and team titles to English Championship podium places and new skill achievements, it was a hugely successful weekend for Spelthorne Tumbling.
